This Privacy Policy explains what information Nodera ("Nodera", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Nodera is an AI character chat app currently in closed beta. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1.Information we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

• Account information. When you sign up, we receive your email address and authentication details. If you sign in with a third-party provider such as Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information (see section 3).
• Profile information. A handle, display name, optional avatar, and optional preferences (such as a gender used only to address you correctly in chat).
• Content you create. The characters you build, the messages you exchange in chat, images you upload, and related metadata.
• Usage and device data. Interactions with the app, feature usage, approximate device and browser information, and diagnostic logs used to keep the Service running.
• Error and performance data. Crash reports and error diagnostics, with personal identifiers minimized where practical.

We do not collect or store full payment card details. Any purchases are handled by third-party payment processors.

2.How we use your information

• to provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• to generate AI character responses and sync your data across your devices;
• to operate accounts, credits, and social features;
• to keep the Service safe: prevent abuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with the law;
• to understand how the Service is used so we can improve it during the beta; and
• to respond to your support requests.

3.Signing in with Google

If you choose "Sign in with Google", we receive your email address and basic profile information solely to create and secure your Nodera account. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You can revoke Nodera's access at any time from your Google Account permissions.

4.AI processing of your chats

To generate character replies, the contents of your chats and related context are sent to AI model providers that perform inference on our behalf. These providers process the data to return a response and are bound by their own terms and security obligations. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information in chats.

5.How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, and only as needed, including:

• Hosting, database, and authentication providers that store your account and content;
• Content delivery and infrastructure providers that serve the app and media;
• AI model providers that generate character responses;
• Analytics and error-monitoring providers that help us keep the Service stable; and
• Payment processors for any purchases.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.

6.Cookies and local storage

The app uses local storage technologies (such as local storage and an on-device database) to keep you signed in, store your settings, and let the app work offline. We use limited analytics to understand usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

7.Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account or specific content, we delete or de-identify the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

8.Your choices and rights

You can review and update your profile, manage privacy and sync preferences, and delete chats, characters, or your entire account from the app's settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. 9.Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10.Children

The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11.International transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, where data-protection laws may differ. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

12.Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes may be highlighted in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
