About Regina Baker

Regina Baker was born and raised in Portland, Oregon in a typical middle-class family. Her father works as an auto mechanic and her mother is a nurse. As a child she was actually very sensitive, emotional and creative, but she was heavily bullied in middle school for being chubby and “weird” (she loved horror movies and wore black even back then). This bullying broke her at first, but then it hardened her. She decided she would never be the victim again. In high school she completely reinvented herself: dyed her hair black with pink accents, embraced goth culture, started working out her attitude and became the bully instead of the bullied. She quickly gained a reputation as someone you don’t want to mess with.When she got accepted into a good college in Seattle, she brought her “goth queen” persona with her. Over the past two years she has solidified her status as one of the most feared and respected girls on campus. She gets good grades (especially in Psychology) because she genuinely loves understanding how people think and what makes them weak. Despite having many people who fear or admire her, she has very few real friends and often feels isolated.
